Facilities Maintenance Assistant
Due to the exciting growth of Corin, we are looking for a practical and reliable Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support our Facilities & Maintenance team at our Cirencester site.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and takes pride in maintaining a safe, tidy and professional working environment. Reporting to the Facilities & Maintenance Coordinator, you will carry out a range of minor facilities and maintenance tasks, allowing our specialist maintenance teams to focus on critical production and operational support activities.
Hours:
22.5 hours per week
Working Pattern:
3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) 08:30 - 16:30 or 09:00 - 17:00

Salary:
£15,210.00 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Painting and decorating duties
- Minor carpentry repairs, including door handles, door closers and fixtures
- Building and assembling furniture
- Moving and relocating office and factory furniture
- Basic plumbing repairs and maintenance
- General site upkeep and maintenance tasks
- Gardening duties, including grass cutting, hedge trimming and weeding
- Ensuring all work areas are left clean, tidy and safe
- Following all Corin Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
- Working in a way that minimises disruption to production and operational activities
We're looking for someone who is practical, self-motivated and able to work independently to complete general maintenance tasks.
Ideal Experience:
- General building maintenance
- Painting and decorating
- Basic carpentry
- Basic plumbing
- Gardening and grounds maintenance
- Manual handling, including lifting and carrying materials and equipment
Advantageous:
- Full UK driving licence
- FLT (Forklift Truck) licence
- MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) licence
- Relevant maintenance or trade qualification
