Join us as a Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer supporting our MoD Rosneath site and a network of sites across Scotland, where you will work with critical infrastructure alongside highly skilled teams.
The Role
As a Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining critical infrastructure and ensuring operational continuity across multiple QinetiQ locations across Scotland.
Day-to-day, you’ll deliver planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building systems, travelling between sites to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive works across mechanical and electrical systems Support maintenance of HVAC, plant equipment, plumbing, and general building infrastructure across multiple locations Undertake compliance activities including Legionella checks, emergency lighting, and site readiness tasks Carry out minor electrical works including lighting, testing, and fault finding Travel between QinetiQ sites across Scotland to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues Support generator systems and participate in the on-call rota
Essential experience of the Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer:
Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within FM, estates, or industrial environments Experience with fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance Ability to work independently across multiple sites and travel regularly Experience working in compliance-driven or highly regulated environments

Essential qualifications for the Multi-Skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or building services discipline Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience Full UK driving licence
