🔧 Facilities / Maintenance Technician
📍 Wolverhampton (on-site, 5 days)
💷 £30,000–£40,000 + bonus + strong benefits
We’re recruiting a Facilities / Maintenance Technician to join Fortress Safety at our Wolverhampton headquarters. This is a great opportunity for someone local to the Black Country who enjoys a varied, hands-on role and takes pride in keeping environments safe, compliant and running smoothly.
🔧 What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the site (electrical, plumbing, general building repairs)
- Managing PAT testing, maintaining records and arranging repairs/replacements
- Supporting health & safety compliance including inspections, fire safety checks and emergency systems
- Coordinating contractors and overseeing onsite works
- Managing waste and recycling processes
- Supporting workspace setup, office moves and team requirements
- Monitoring site security and supporting environmental initiatives
- Flexibility in hours and on call requirement for key holding and site emergencies
