About Evolito

Evolito develops and manufactures class-leading, lightweight, high-power, and high-torque-density electric propulsion systems for a range of aerospace markets, including EVTOL, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and General Aviation.

As well as ultra-high performance, low-weight electric motors and controllers, Evolito specialises in high integrity, bespoke battery systems for the aerospace and defence markets. The team is scaling rapidly and has ambitious growth plans over the next twelve to eighteen months.

Role Overview

As part of our current high-growth phase, we are looking for a Facilities Manager to be responsible for the Evolito facility in Bicester, covering the site infrastructure, including services, production and test facilities, and support contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing and maintaining a safe working environment for the Evolito team in conjunction with HSE Manager
  • Ensuring Evolito is compliant to national mandatory requirements for example, PAT, EICR, Water testing etc.
  • Setting up and managing installation, support, maintenance and calibration contracts for a range of facilities equipment and production/test assets
  • Carrying out regular process confirmation of the facilities and supporting contract, implementing continuous improvement activities
  • Ensuring budget adherence and investment identification, management of capex for FM
  • Ensuring supplier performance to contracted KPIs
  • Playing a key role in the Business Continuity Management process
  • Maintaining good working relations with internal and external customers and management of facilities projects as and when required
  • Occasional travel to other Evolito facilities.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the aerospace or automotive industries
  • Previous experience in a regulated, dynamic, manufacturing and test environment
  • Experienced in supplier and contracts management
  • Health and safety trained
  • Previous proven experience in financial management of budgets including capital expenditure
  • A'self-starter' attitude with energy and enthusiasm
  • Ability and desire to thrive in a small business environment
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing conflicting demands against tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A flexible approach to work
  • UK driving license and ability to travel.

Desirable

  • IOSH trained
