Location & Contract Details

  • Location: London, UK (Onsite)
  • Duration: Initial 6-month contract
  • Salary: £175–£210 per day (PAYE)

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our London office, ensuring a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace for employees. The role involves facilities management, workplace services, vendor performance oversight, compliance, real estate coordination, and delivering workplace improvement projects.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring an exceptional workplace experience
  • Oversee planned maintenance and ensure health, safety, environmental, and statutory compliance
  • Manage service providers (cleaning, security, catering, reception, and other workplace services) against SLA and KPI performance
  • Lead vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Coordinate office moves, space planning, workplace events, and hospitality services
  • Act as the primary liaison with landlords, overseeing building services, lease-related matters, and service charge governance
  • Deliver office fit-outs, relocations, and workplace improvement projects
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, including:
    • Operational performance
    • Customer satisfaction
    • Space utilisation
    • Energy efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

About You

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related discipline (Engineering preferred)
  • Experience:
    • Proven Facilities Management experience (corporate or pharmaceutical environment preferred)
    • Experience managing workplace services, catering/cafeteria operations, and office events
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and project management skills
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
    • Proactive approach with a focus on delivering outstanding workplace experiences
