Location & Contract Details
- Location: London, UK (Onsite)
- Duration: Initial 6-month contract
- Salary: £175–£210 per day (PAYE)
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our London office, ensuring a safe, efficient, and engaging workplace for employees. The role involves facilities management, workplace services, vendor performance oversight, compliance, real estate coordination, and delivering workplace improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facilities operations, ensuring an exceptional workplace experience
- Oversee planned maintenance and ensure health, safety, environmental, and statutory compliance
- Manage service providers (cleaning, security, catering, reception, and other workplace services) against SLA and KPI performance
- Lead vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and cost optimisation initiatives
- Coordinate office moves, space planning, workplace events, and hospitality services
- Act as the primary liaison with landlords, overseeing building services, lease-related matters, and service charge governance
- Deliver office fit-outs, relocations, and workplace improvement projects
- Monitor and report on KPIs, including:
- Operational performance
- Customer satisfaction
- Space utilisation
- Energy efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers

About You
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, or a related discipline (Engineering preferred)
- Experience:
- Proven Facilities Management experience (corporate or pharmaceutical environment preferred)
- Experience managing workplace services, catering/cafeteria operations, and office events
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and project management skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive approach with a focus on delivering outstanding workplace experiences
