Job Role

MDM Props is seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our premises and facilities. Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for managing building maintenance, workplace services, Health & Safety compliance, contractor management, and supporting operational teams to ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and fit for purpose.

A recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent) is desired, but candidates without this qualification, who are willing to undertake training are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Management

  • Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and upkeep of all company workshops and surrounding facilities, ensuring they remain safe, compliant, and operational.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Lead the company's Health & Safety programme by maintaining policies, risk assessments, safe systems of work, audits, inspections, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.

Building & Asset Maintenance

  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs for building services, plant, machinery, warehouse equipment, fire safety systems, and workplace infrastructure.

Workplace Operations

  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, PPE provision, first aid equipment, security, and general workplace standards across all operational areas.

Training & Emergency Preparedness

  • Coordinate Health & Safety training, inductions, emergency procedures, fire safety arrangements, first aid provision, and business continuity planning.

Operational Support

  • Support warehouse and project teams by ensuring facilities, equipment, and working environments are available, maintained, and suitable for operational requirements.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor facility performance, investigate incidents, identify improvement opportunities, and implement actions that enhance safety, compliance, efficiency, and workplace standards.
