About the Role

CVRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team based in Nottingham.

This role involves:

  • Management and oversight of a group of properties.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety, environmental regulations, company procedures, and client/tenant requirements.
  • Ensuring adherence to budgetary costs and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Property & Facilities Management

  • Monitor and liaise with service providers/sub-contractors (Monitor FM role).
  • Maintain the building’s fabric (internal and external) to a high standard as per the management contract and agreed budgets.
  • Oversee third-party contracts to guarantee correct service standards are delivered.

Health & Safety Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure full health and safety compliance onsite.
  • Manage risk proactively, including dealing with insurance-related matters.

Service Delivery & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare, control, and monitor service agreements in line with the client’s budgetary agreement.
  • Regularly assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and take corrective action to maintain standards.

Administrative & Documentation

  • Compile and maintain all required records, including company, health & safety, and other relevant documentation.

Tenancy & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain excellent tenant relationships, ensuring high standards in service delivery.

Procurement & Coordination

  • Liaise with the building manager and procurement department to compile external contracts.

Person Specification / Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Proven facilities management experience, including:
    • Line management of company personnel and contractors.
    • Management of service agreements.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, environmental protection requirements.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification is highly advantageous.
