Facilities Manager

Exciting Hospitality Manager Role

A compelling new opportunity exists for a dedicated Hospitality Manager to join a newly built care home in Swaffham, Norfolk. This role will be with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers, specialising in modern care delivery.

About the Role

This modern, purpose-built care home delivers exceptional residential, dementia, respite, and convalescence care in a supportive, resident-centred environment.

Compliance Requirement

  • Must have relevant Hospitality Management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align service deliverance with the family vision and values, ensuring compassion, empathy, and transparency are core to operations.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative working environment, prioritising teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality service.
  • Ensure residents receive an exceptional experience, exceeding their needs and expectations.
  • Oversee food service operations—collaborate with the executive chef to plan, prepare, and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals.
  • Develop and maintain a tailored, engaging activities programme designed to cater to residents’ interests, promote wellness, and foster enjoyment.
  • Maintain exceptional first-immpressions experience throughout the home.
  • Manage housekeeping functions, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Exceptional people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for effective engagements with staff, residents, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in first-impressions protocols to ensure seamless guest experiences upon arrival.
  • Knowledge of food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and dietary requirements.
  • Deep understanding of older adults’ needs, with expertise in designing fun, engaging activities that support health and wellness.
  • Sophisticated housekeeping expertise, including cleaning, hygiene, and infection control.
  • Budget management proficiency, ensuring cost-effective service delivery while maintaining high quality.
