Amey is recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to lead Hard FM (Facilities Management) delivery at HMP Manchester. This role requires a resilient, flexible leader who can manage a large team, maintain compliance, and build strong client relationships within a secure and demanding environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing and leading a large FM team, including performance and disciplinary matters.
- Overseeing day-to-day estate operations and service delivery.
- Building strong relationships with prison leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance standards are achieved.
- Driving KPI performance and continuous improvement.
- Promoting high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong Hard FM management experience, ideally with 5+ years.
- Proven leadership of large operational teams.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements.
- Experience in preparing for audits and maintaining statutory compliance.
- Resilient, adaptable, and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Additional Requirements
- Flexibility required to support operational needs.
- Monthly regional management meetings (business mileage reimbursed).
- FM or technical qualifications are preferred.
- Prison Security Clearance, standard DBS, and Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) are required (supported by Amey).
