Facilities Officer - Professional Services | City of London
£33,000 | Full-time | 5 days on site We are working with a well-established professional services firm in the City who are looking to appoint a Facilities Officer to join their workplace operations team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some existing facilities or workplace experience who is looking to develop further within a fast-paced, professional environment with genuine room for progression.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy office environment, ensuring the workplace is safe, functional, and operating smoothly across multiple floors. Responsibilities will include: Daily walkthroughs of the building, including multiple floors Managing ticketing system and requests. Oversee office maintenance and repairs. Understaind Health and Saftey and conducting checks. Maintenance checks and reporting issues Assisting with contractors on-site and escorting them where required Supporting reception and wider workplace operations Handling a variety of reactive facilities tasks simultaneously Liaising with internal teams including Operations, Office Management, and Facilities leadership Ensuring a calm, professional, and efficient workplace experience for staff and visitors

About You
The ideal candidate will have: Some prior exposure to facilities, workplace services, or office operations Experience working in a professional services environment Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with a wide range of stakeholders The ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks at once A flexible, hands-on approach - including being comfortable walking floors, carrying out checks, and assisting practically on-site A proactive and reliable attitude with strong attention to detail

You will be joining a structured facilities and workplace team operating across different levels, from junior support through to senior leadership. The environment is professional, and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on delivery and responsiveness.
