Project Manager – Commercial (Property & Facilities) – SIXT UK

About the Role

SIXT UK is growing rapidly with bold ambitions to accelerate its expansion. To support this growth, we are strengthening our management capacities, with the newly established Commercial Department playing a pivotal role in driving SIXT’s strategy forward. As Project Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to:

  • Proactively manage the UK property & facilities portfolio
  • Lead exciting commercial initiatives within SIXT UK
  • Report to the UK Commercial Director
  • Add commercial insight and value

Key Responsibilities

You will oversee a mix of financial, operational, and strategic aspects to ensure smooth functioning across all branches:

  • Lead minor repair and maintenance work, managing and coordinating contractors
  • Ensure compliance and payment of business rates with local authorities
  • Manage utility contracts across all branches, including:
    • Timely invoice processing
    • Accounting in P&L
    • Negotiating new contracts and rates
  • Oversee health and safety contracts, ensuring:
    • Up-to-date accreditations
    • Training compliance across all branches
  • Head IT equipment management at head office, including:
    • Repairs & maintenance
    • IT support for the branch network
  • Efficiently manage non-motor key suppliers

Essential Requirements

We’re looking for a strategic, commercially astute leader with the right qualifications and mindset:

Professional Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant professional qualifications, with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience
  • MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) – desirable
