Facilities & Operations Manager (Site) – Permanent (Full-Time)

Location: Milton Keynes (MK4 3FU)

You will play a central role in overseeing a designated area, supporting teams, optimising processes, and ensuring every aspect of your operation reflects our dedication to quality. 🔹 Core Responsibilities

In this role, a typical day may involve:

  • Championing a forward-thinking safety culture by coordinating safety arrangements, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with training and regulatory requirements to protect all employees.
  • Overseeing administrative functions, including:
    • Meeting room bookings
    • Postal and procurement activities
    • General office coordination
  • Acting as the primary liaison for hospitality and catering while managing communications with delivery drivers, contractors, and maintenance teams.
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with staff, management, and external service providers to maintain smooth operations and health and safety standards.
  • Performing regular facility inspections to identify repair or renovation needs, while overseeing:
    • Recycling and equipment disposal
    • Cleaning protocols
    • Security and general maintenance activities.

🔹 Requirements

This role would suit individuals with:

✔ Proven experience in health and safety, including: 🔸 Confidence in conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with safe-working practices.

✔ A strong interpersonal skillset, capable of fostering positive relationships across all organisational levels and with external partners.

✔ Comfort in analysing data and interpreting trends, alongside experience with spreadsheets.

✔ Good procurement knowledge and supplier management experience.

✔ Personal transport (own car) and a valid UK driving license—essential for site and external visits.
