Job Introduction

Landmarc are looking for a Facilities Site Manager who can lead operations with confidence and clarity. This role is essential to keeping the camp running smoothly and supporting critical military training activity. It’s an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading a multi-skilled team.

Role Details

  • Salary: £36,786.39
  • Location: Westdown Camp, Tilshead, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 4RS
  • Contract: Permanent / Full-time / On-site
  • Hours: Mon – Fri, 08:00 – 16:30 (37 hrs p/w)

Landmarc provides the essential support services that enable Armed Forces to train for frontline operations across the UK Defence Training Estate. We maintain safe, sustainable infrastructure, operate training areas and ranges, and deliver major projects that enhance vital military training assets. What You’ll Do

  • Manage hard and soft FM services across Westdown Camp to ensure safe, compliant and efficient operations
  • Apply current health and safety legislation and industry standards throughout the site
  • Respond proactively to matters raised by staff, customers and site users and monitor trends to maintain excellent service levels
  • Oversee accommodation, waste services, stores, grounds maintenance and cleaning requirements
  • Plan and schedule workloads to ensure your team delivers tasks effectively
  • Manage equipment and procurement to ensure resources are used responsibly
  • Carry out routine inspections of facilities and training areas to identify maintenance needs
  • Oversee subcontractors to ensure their work meets required standards and supports site operations

Essential

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong people management skills and a solid background in Facilities Management.
  • Confident working with budgets and planning team workloads
  • Excellent understanding of COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work at IOSH Managing Safely level
  • Hold a full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • Hold Level 4 qualification such as NVQ or HND in Business Management, People Management or equivalent
