JOB PURPOSE
The core role of the Facilities Team Lead is to ensure that buildings and their services meet the needs of employees and the business whilst assisting the businesses with compliance to statutory Health, Safety and Environmental obligations.
KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Management of all site facilities including cleaning, waste disposal, site security, catering, building facilities, and workwear.
- Management of subcontractors and suppliers to maintain the site facilities within budget.
- Support the QHSE team in ensuring business environmental objectives and statutory HSE obligations are met.
- Manage the site Facilities Team including development and performance management.
- Ensuring that all company procedures are adhered to and communicated to relevant personnel.
- Carry out duties as directed by your manager.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI’s)
- Time keeping and punctuality.
- Adherence to company’s standards: BRC Packaging and Packaging Materials, ISO9001, OHSAS18001, ISO14001, FSC, and PEFC.
- Maintenance and upkeep of department files and records.
- Good housekeeping practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong experience of Facilities Operations within an FMCG manufacturing environment (preferably packaging).
- Strong team leading experience.
- Computer skills including the use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
KEY (BEHAVIOURAL) COMPETENCES
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong people management skills.
- Excellent influencing and consulting/communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work alone and in teams.
