About the Role & Team

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Facilities Team Leader to join our team at Jubilee Park Campus. The key responsibilities include:

  • Organising and supervising the Building Attendant and Cleaning Teams
  • Inspecting building infrastructure for maintenance issues and reporting them
  • Ensuring adequate supplies of consumables for teaching and conferences
  • Setting up and maintaining meeting rooms to a high standard
  • Overseeing the locking and unlocking of designated building areas, issuing/receiving keys from staff and contractors
  • Adhering to relevant policies and procedures
  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, managing face-to-face, phone, and email enquiries
  • Maintaining cleaning standards and supervising, training, and inducting the cleaning team
  • Conducting appraisal conversations where required

Key Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Experience in a similar customer-facing environment
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Relevant cleaning experience
  • Desirable skills:
    • Basic maintenance experience
    • Knowledge of fire and security alarm systems

Additional Notes

  • Role may be physically demanding, but lifting aids and full training will be provided.

Hours of Work

  • 36.25 hours per week
  • 5 days per week with occasional weekends (1.45 PM – 10:00 PM)
  • Permanent full-time post with a 15% weekend pay supplement
