We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities Technician to join our dynamic team in Southampton. You will be the go-to person for keeping our site running safely and smoothly. Enjoy a varied, practical role where no two days are the same, carrying out both preventative maintenance and rapid-response repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned & Reactive Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and swiftly diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and general building fabric faults.
- Compliance & Health and Safety: Ensure all work adheres to UK safety regulations and maintain accurate incident/maintenance reports.
- Contractor Management: Supervise and assist on-site external contractors during larger service projects.
- General Upkeep: Manage day-to-day site logistics, perform minor repairs, and maintain a safe, clean, and functional work environment.

Essential Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in building, commercial, or facilities maintenance.
- Basic multi-trade skills (e.g., basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or HVAC systems).
- Valid UK Driving License.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, customer-focused approach.
