What You Would Do As Our Factored Planner

We are looking for someone who can ensure optimum availability of Factored Inventory to allow us to service customer orders and forecast requirements in accordance with our inventory targets.

Reporting into the Logistics and Planning Manager, you would:

  • Maintain and develop existing supply chains for factored products.
  • Interpret sales forecasts and demand in support of purchase order placement.
  • Ensure purchase orders are shipped on time from suppliers.
  • Regularly communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders and third parties to co-ordinate inbound deliveries.
  • Compile, analyse and present key data related to Factored Inbound Supply to the relevant management teams.
  • Raise purchase orders in respect of customer orders, forecast and MRP.
  • Monitor customer forecasts and associated demand, ensuring optimum inventory levels are ordered when required.
  • React to changes in customer demand and take necessary action to mitigate risk.

The Skills And Experience You Need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven planning experience to ensure optimum availability of Inventory across multiple SKU’s via multiple overseas vendors on extended lead times.
  • Is experienced using ERP systems, Microsoft AX & Demand Solutions.
  • Has knowledge of supply chain management, including sea freight/ air/ road.
  • Have relevant experience with importing goods to the UK & understanding of INCO Terms.
