About the Role
We’re seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to join our Factoring Team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and estate management across communal blocks in the Scottish Borders.
Key Details
- Salary: £24,479 – £25,437 per year (pay award pending)
- Location: Scottish Borders
- Hours: 35 per week, Monday to Friday
- Contract: Permanent
- Closing Date: Wednesday, 15 July 2026
Main Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain stairwell areas in communal blocks
- Conduct litter picking in external communal spaces
- Report repairs, maintenance issues, and neighbourhood concerns to the local Housing Officer
- Promote safe working practices and adhere to SBHA’s Health and Safety policies

Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain high standards with attention to detail
- Experience in collaborative teamwork
- Full and valid UK driving licence with access to your own transport
- Essential: Proven experience in cleaning and clearance of domestic and commercial properties
