We have an exciting opportunity for a Factory Administrator to join our Rendering team. This is a temporary role for 9 months maternity cover and will be site based 5 days per week and will hold overall responsibility and accountability to provide an excellent level of administrative service ensuring all administration activities are provided in a timely and efficient manner.
This is a busy and varied role where you will need to be able to build relationships with employees and managers across the business.
Job Purpose
To provide an administration support service to the factory. The role will also incorporate provision of other associated Administrative support including updating data such as reports, holiday requests, non-attendance, worked hours and issuing briefs across the site.

Hours of work: Mon - Fri 08:45 - 17:00
Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily updating of various factory reports
- Providing clerical support to various areas within the factory
- All Photocopying and filing to be carried out.
- Other administrative duties as necessary for Factory Management.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of company systems and processes such as excel reports, SAP reports, time and attendance, absence management in order to access relevant information.
- Provide holiday and absence cover when and where necessary.
- Ordering non production related miscellaneous goods
- Responsible for post
- Responsible for keeping factory notice boards up to date.
- Answering unattended telephone - relaying calls and taking messages
- To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business.
- Chemistry analyses sample collections and testing
- Updating plant technical KPI’S
- Posting samples to 3rd party labs.
- Other duties as when requested by manager.
- Any other duties that may be required
