Location: Epping, Essex (Rural location - own transport essential)
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am - 3:30pm | Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Due to the rural location, applicants must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own transport.
Prime Appointments are recruiting for a keen and enthusiastic Factory Operative to join a growing manufacturing and production company based in Epping, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has hands on experience working within carpentry or wood working environment.

Duties Of The Factory Operative
- Safely operate machinery to accurately measure and cut materials for production - Edge Bander, Hot Press, Sander etc.
- Using a variety of hand and power tools to manufacture products
- Carry out manual handling duties, including heavy lifting
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Wrapping and palletising finished products
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience or qualifications in carpentry, joinery, or a similar trade would be advantageous
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A full driving licence and your own transport due to the location
