Description

FS Engineering is a growing company based in Bicester and Oxford, providing specialist fire-engineering manufacturing and support services. We work closely with clients to deliver tailored, project-specific solutions across design, production, installation support and maintenance. As our workload increases, we’re looking for a dependable Factory Operative to join our team.

About The Role

This role supports the smooth running of our workshop and production area. Daily tasks may include:

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workspace
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Carrying out stock counts and basic inventory tasks
• Assembling components and preparing materials
• Operating workshop machinery and tools (training provided)
• Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Occasional travel to customer sites to assist with service or support work

What We’re Looking For

• Reliable individuals with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Basic numeracy and literacy
• Confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word is an advantage
• Physically able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
• CSCS card is a must.
• Electrical or pipe-fitting experience is beneficial, but full training can be provided
• No previous factory experience required — we will train the right person

Additional Information

• Based in Upper Heyford (OX25)
• Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am–4.30pm
• Some short-notice site visits or overtime may be required depending on project needs
