Burger Production Operative (Night Shift)
Hainault, Essex
£35,689.68 per annum
Hours: 54 hours per week. 20:00 – 05:00 Sunday to Saturday Morning
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Burger Production Operatives to join our growing production team as we continue to strengthen and expand our business.
Working within a high-care food production environment, you will be responsible for the manufacture, preparation, and packing of fresh burger products, ensuring the highest standards of quality, food safety, and hygiene are maintained at all times.
Duties
- Producing burgers to customer specifications and quality standards.
- Weighing raw materials and ingredients according to recipes.
- Operating burger production, processing, and packaging machinery in accordance with training and SOPs.
- Assisting with the preparation, packing, weighing, and labelling of burger products.
- Receiving, inspecting, and storing deliveries correctly.
- Conducting quality checks and reporting any issues promptly.
- Ensuring all products meet Food Safety, HACCP, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Completing production records and documentation accurately.
- Maintaining excellent personal hygiene standards and wearing PPE correctly.
- Minimising waste and contributing to an efficient production process.
- Carrying out cleaning duties and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Working effectively as part of a team and following management instructions.

Requirements
- Previous food production experience desirable.
- Experience within a burger production, meat processing, or food manufacturing environment desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good verbal and written English.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in performance.
- Flexible approach to work with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties.
