Faculty Professional Services

Faculty Administrator (0.6 FTE)

Ref: SC5024

Salary: on appointment will be £25,249 per annum (pro rata), with an annual increment up to £26,093 per annum (pro rata).

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Faculty Administrator to join Faculty Professional Services to provide proactive administrative support to academic colleagues, professional services staff and University services, supporting the delivery of Faculty activities and an excellent student experience.

Key Duties

  • Supporting Faculty activities such as admissions, recruitment and student engagement activities;
  • Maintaining and developing Faculty social media, website content and marketing materials;
  • Coordinating applicant, student, alumni and external engagement events;
  • Providing administrative support for committees, meetings and academic leadership activities;
  • Supporting financial and staffing administration;
  • Responding to enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders;
  • Contributing to the delivery of apprenticeship provision and other Faculty activities where required.

  • Experience of working with administrative systems and office procedures;

  • Prioritising competing workloads;

  • Supporting meetings and follow-up actions;

  • Maintaining web and social media content;

  • Delivering excellent customer service.

  • Strong organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Attention to detail;

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively;

Employment Details

This part-time (0.6 FTE) post is available on an indefinite basis from 1 August 2026.
