đĄ Family Solicitor (Associate / Senior Associate) | Bristol or Bath
This is the kind of Family role that rarely sits around for long in Bristol. Weâre working with a Top 100 firm with a genuinely standout Family team â Legal 500 ranked, full of good people, and doing the sort of privately funded work most Family lawyers actually want to be doing.
The team has a brilliant reputation across the South West for high-quality divorce and financial remedy work, children matters and cohabitation disputes. Itâs not a churn-and-burn setup. Youâll be trusted with proper advisory work, direct client relationships and complex matters from the outset.
What really stands out here, though, is the team itself. Itâs a genuinely supportive, collaborative group with approachable Partners who are invested in helping people progress. Thereâs no âwait 10 years and see what happensâ culture. If youâre ambitious and doing good work, thereâs a clear path forward.

Iâm in my final year doing Economics and I donât know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer â it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donât need a masters. Letâs look at the ones youâd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet â that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
