Family Court Adviser (Children & Families)
Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Family Court Adviser (Children & Families) for its client's Cafcass service based in Canterbury, Kent. This is a full-time agency role offering £37.75 per hour and supporting children involved in family court proceedings through robust safeguarding, assessment, and court advisory work.

What You Will Be Doing
- Providing advanced social work services to children, families, and courts involved in family proceedings.
- Assessing and analysing court applications where there are child protection or serious welfare concerns.
- Delivering high-quality safeguarding and child protection advice, assessments, and analysis to the Family Court.
- Undertaking direct work with children and families to ensure children's voices, wishes, and feelings remain central to decision-making.
- Preparing clear, evidence-based recommendations and reports to support judicial case management.
- Influencing parents and carers to remain child-focused throughout court proceedings.
- Working collaboratively with Local Authorities, legal professionals, and partner agencies to safeguard children.
- Identifying risks and making referrals to appropriate support services when this will improve outcomes for children.
- Negotiating effectively with families and professionals to achieve safe and positive outcomes for children.

What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Significant post-qualified experience in children's social work.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and family court proceedings.
- Experience of conducting complex assessments and producing high-quality analytical reports.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing a complex caseload.
- Commitment to keeping children at the centre of all practice.
