About Hibberts LLP

Hibberts LLP is a long-established and accredited North West firm, renowned for delivering personal, professional and practical legal services. We pride ourselves on traditional values, high standards of client care and trusted expertise across private client, property, agriculture, tax and trust work. Our firm combines a strong local reputation with a forward-looking approach, embracing innovation and technology to better serve our clients in today’s evolving legal environment.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Family/Matrimonial Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 years’ PQE to join our Nantwich offices. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable, confident and client-focused legal professional with strong experience in family and matrimonial matters, who is looking to develop within the role and make a meaningful contribution to the future growth of the department. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, provide clear and sensitive advice to clients, and contribute to the continued development of our Family department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied family and matrimonial caseload, including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters, cohabitation disputes, separation agreements and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Provide clear, practical and sensitive advice to clients, often during emotionally challenging circumstances.
  • Handle matters with appropriate autonomy, maintaining high standards of client care, technical accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support the growth of the department through relationship building, cross-referrals and business development activity in the local community.
  • Work collaboratively with partners, colleagues and support staff, with the opportunity to mentor junior team members where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
