Family Law Associate / Senior Associate
Aberdeen
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Lawyer to join a highly regarded and growing family law team in Aberdeen.
Working as part of a respected national practice, you will advise clients on a broad range of private family law matters, including separation, divorce, child-related issues, and complex financial arrangements. The role offers exposure to high-quality work and the opportunity to collaborate with family law specialists across multiple locations.
You will provide clear, pragmatic and empathetic advice to clients during significant life events, helping them navigate sensitive and often complex situations. The position also offers involvement in matters with UK-wide and international elements, allowing you to develop your expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Opportunity
- Advise on a varied caseload of private family law matters
- Work alongside recognised specialists within a leading family team
- Handle complex financial and relationship breakdown cases
- Support matters with national and international dimensions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice
About You
- Qualified solicitor with experience in family law
- Strong technical knowledge of private family law matters
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a wider team
- Commercially aware with a practical and solution-focused approach
