Paralegal – Family (Private Law) – Bolton
We are currently looking for a Paralegal to join our client's Family team based in Bolton. This is a permanent role supporting a busy Private Family department. You will work closely with fee earners and colleagues across the team, assisting with case management, client care, and administrative support while gaining exposure to a broad range of private family matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Arranging client appointments and meetings
- Maintaining regular telephone contact with clients and external agencies
- Managing diaries and coordinating appointments
- Maintaining and updating databases and case management systems
- Preparing court bundles and supporting documentation
- Providing a high standard of client care and acting as a key point of contact for clients
- Supporting fee earners with the progression of matters and administrative tasks
- Liaising with colleagues and external parties to ensure matters progress efficiently
- Assisting with general office administration and file management
- Travelling to courts, meetings, and other office locations where required

Person Specification
The ideal candidate will bring with them:
- Previous experience within a legal support or paralegal role
- Excellent communication and telephone skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong IT skills and confidence using case management systems
- Professional and client-focused approach
- Proactive and willing to develop within the role
- Access to a vehicle for travel to courts, meetings, and other office locations

Details
- Salary: up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
- Annual Leave: 25 days plus Bank Holidays
