Salary: £34,000 to £48,000 (dependent on experience) plus up to £15,600 in performance incentives (paid quarterly), along with excellent benefits (Work Level 6A)
Location: Manchester City Centre, Bristol, Stratford-Upon-Avon or Sheffield – hybrid working (1 day in the office, rest at home). Hybrid Working Policy

The Role – Family Law Solicitor
We’re expanding our Family Law team and are looking for motivated NQ and Associate Solicitors to join us.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of a mixed caseload of family law matters—from active negotiation to delivering fair outcomes for clients.
- Use our case management system to ensure all client data is recorded accurately.
- Meet both individual and team target objectives for billable hours and profitability.
- Draft and audit all legal documents and correspondence.
(No need to bring prospective clients—we’ll source your caseload for you!)

Responsibilities
- Managing private family law matters from start to finish.
- Acting as an experienced client therapist while negotiating fair resolutions.
- Ensuring adherence to chargeable time, billing targets, and cost controls.
- Maintaining accurate, secure records via our case management tools.
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified as a solicitor or CILEX-qualified.
- Proven experience in privately funded family law, preferably with negotiation experience.
- Consistently meet or exceed billable, chargeable, and profitability targets.
- Solid knowledge of IT tools, particularly case management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build friendly, trust-based relationships.
- Exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and time management.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a genuine problem-solving mindset.
