Family Solicitor
We have an exciting opportunity for a Family Solicitor to join our growing team and head up our Family Department. At Backhouse Solicitors we take great pride in a fantastic team of people who work together to look after our clients and make this a great place to work. About You
The successful candidate can expect a high level of autonomy and responsibility from the outset. You will ideally be 3 years + PQE and seeking genuine career progression. In addition, you will be passionate about growing and developing our Family Department and generating new business. There is also the potential for future Directorship. At Backhouse Solicitors we pride ourselves on our high standard of customer care and client service, it is vital that the successful candidate is committed to maintaining this high standard.

About The Role
You will be expected to handle a mixed caseload of family law related matters namely, divorce, separation; cohabitation; civil partnership disputes, children issues, ancillary relief and financial matters

- Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence and face to face, in order to provide advice and assistance
- Assist in growing the Backhouse business – working with the rest of the team to develop new opportunities and communicating our message to attract new clients. This will range from writing articles for the website and publications to attending business networking events and even speaking to a room full of people if you have the skill.
