Family Law Solicitor

Family Law Solicitor – NQ & Associate Roles

£34,000 to £48,000 (dependant on experience) plus up to £15,600 in performance incentives (paid quarterly) and excellent benefits (Work Level 6A) Locations: Manchester City Centre, Bristol, Stratford-Upon-Avon or Sheffield Working Model: Hybrid (one day a week on-site)

Key Responsibilities

You’ll take full ownership of a variety of family law matters, including:

  • Negotiating on behalf of clients to secure the best outcomes
  • Working within our case management system to record all details accurately
  • Ensuring you meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documentation and correspondence for accuracy

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for experienced and passionate solicitors (or CILEX-qualified individuals) with:

  • Qualification & experience:
    • Solicitor qualification (or equivalent) with hands-on experience in privately-funded family law matters
  • Performance-driven attitude:
    • Proven ability to hit chargeable and billing targets consistently
  • Practical skills:
    • Strong familiarity with case management systems and core office software
    • Attention to detail, allowing for precise and professional drafting
  • Soft skills & resilience:
    • Excellent relationship-building and client service skills
    • Ability to work collaborate effectively across diverse teams
    • Resilience with a g growth mindset and adaptability to change
