Family Lawyer
AJ Chambers are proud to be partnered with a Top 200 UK law firm on their search for an experienced Family Lawyer.
In this role you will work as part of a well renowned team that specialises in high-value and complex claims and offers plenty of high-quality work and many an opportunity to shine. This position is a hybrid role based both in office and from home.
Responsibilities:
- Take full accountability for managing a complex and mixed caseload of client matters without any supervision
- Help to achieve the firm’s fee targets and assist others in the team to do so by mentoring and guiding the development of more junior team members
- Advising clients properly on divorce law, children, financial, and DV issues
- Advising clients on cohabitation agreements and premarital agreements
- Drafting the necessary documents to further the advice given
- Ensure efficient and timely credit management processes are adhered to
- Conducting negotiations
- Prepare consent orders and agreements in relation to family disputes
- Advocacy at any appropriate court hearings
- Lead, manage and motivate other staff members ensuring they have a full understanding of goals related to their own objectives
