eSolicitors is a growing global network of independent legal experts. We are inviting qualified Lawyers (solicitors, barristers, and legal consultants) to join our platform as self-employed legal professionals, delivering legal services to our clients online.
It’s an opportunity to build your own independent practice through our platform, with complete flexibility and no overhead costs.
Role Description
The Family Lawyer, Solicitor, Barrister will provide remote, full-time legal services focused on family law matters, including divorce, separation, child arrangements, financial settlements, and related disputes. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on their legal rights and options
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents
- Preparing case strategies
- Negotiating settlements where appropriate
The role involves representing clients in hearings and proceedings (where jurisdiction and qualifications permit), liaising with courts and other professionals, and ensuring all matters are managed in line with regulatory and ethical standards. The professional will also contribute to the platform’s content and outreach by participating in interviews, providing legal insight for articles or podcasts, and supporting initiatives that enhance client understanding of family law. Collaborative work with other legal experts on the platform to share best practices and maintain high-quality client service is expected.

Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in family law, including divorce, child arrangements, domestic abuse, and financial remedies.
- Proven ability to advise clients clearly, manage expectations, and handle emotionally sensitive matters with professionalism and empathy.
- Experience drafting and reviewing legal documents such as applications, statements, consent orders, and settlement agreements.
- Competence in advocacy and representation before courts or tribunals, or strong experience briefing and collaborating with counsel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts in accessible language.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a remote caseload and meet deadlines consistently.
- Comfort with digital tools and remote work platforms, including secure document management, video conferencing, and online case systems.
- Eligibility and current authorization to practice law as a solicitor, barrister, or equivalent in the relevant jurisdiction, with a clean professional and regulatory record.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and compliance with all applicable regulatory and professional conduct rules.
- Experience contributing to legal content, thought leadership, or client education materials is an advantage.

- Compensation: Earnings based on projects you accept. The platform fee applies only upon successful service completion.
