Company Description

MantraDoc is a digital doctor directory designed to connect patients with licensed and experienced medical professionals anytime, anywhere. The platform enables individuals to access online consultations or locate nearby physicians and specialists with ease. MantraDoc supports a wide range of specialties, including general physicians, cardiologists, dermatologists, ENT specialists, pediatricians, and more. Doctors on the platform address both common health concerns such as colds, flu, and back pain, as well as chronic conditions like diabetes, asthma, and hypertension. By using MantraDoc, patients can receive quality, personalized healthcare from the comfort of their homes.

Role Description

The Family Medicine Doctor will provide patient-centered primary care through MantraDoc’s remote consultation platform in a part-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Conducting virtual medical evaluations
  • Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
  • Prescribing medications and treatments as appropriate
  • Coordinating follow-up care

The role involves:

  • Reviewing patient histories
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests when needed
  • Offering preventive care guidance, including lifestyle counseling and health screenings

The Family Medicine Doctor will collaborate with other clinicians on the platform, document encounters accurately in electronic records, and adhere to clinical protocols, evidence-based guidelines, and relevant telehealth regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Family Medicine and Primary Care to manage a wide range of patient needs across age groups.
  • Solid knowledge of Medicine and Urgent Care to evaluate, triage, and treat acute presentations in a virtual setting.
  • Experience in Community Health to deliver equitable, culturally sensitive care and promote population-level wellness.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.
  • Current, unrestricted medical license in relevant jurisdiction(s); board certification in Family Medicine strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience with telemedicine or virtual care platforms, including proficiency with electronic health records and secure communication tools.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport in remote consultations.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, patient privacy, and compliance with applicable healthcare and telehealth regulations.
