Part-Time Position: Skilled Family Nurse Practitioner

About the Role WeCare tlc partners with employers to proactively manage their healthcare costs by delivering expert primary care services to employees and their families. We’re seeking a skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a unique, insurance-free clinic model—allowing for deeper patient engagement and extended visit times.

The Family Nurse Practitioner will:

  • Provide comprehensive primary care to employees and dependents
  • Offer wellness programs and education to foster healthy lifestyle choices
  • Demonstrate passion, adaptability, organization, and exceptional patient rapport-building
  • Employ strong clinical judgment, urgency, and follow-up skills

We’re looking for a self-motivated professional with:

  • Brightness, focus, and reliability
  • Excellent oral/written communication and technological proficiency
  • Insight into healthcare trends, chronic disease management, and proven clinical best practices

Responsibilities

  • Deliver primary care services, including preventive and chronic disease management
  • Establish and maintain high trust with diverse employee populations
  • Collaborate on workplace wellness initiatives to drive positive health outcomes
  • Perform in-office procedures including immunizations, basic wound care, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to CPT/ICD-10 coding standards and preventive care guidelines
  • Utilize strong emotional intelligence to build connections with patients and team members

Requiremments

Essential Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited NP program (BSN/MSN equivalent)
  • Valid state license to practice Family Nurse Practitioner in applicable jurisdictions
  • A minimum of 2 years clinical NP experience, preferably in family/occupational healthcare
  • Current, sound knowledge of:
    • Diagnostic reasoning
    • Chronic condition management
    • Telehealth/clinical IT systems (epic/myEHR platforms knowledge preferred)
    • Best practices in preventive and workplace wellness

  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Courtroom-level medical documentation proficiency (SOAP notes, histories, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current DEA registration and DOT certification
  • Occupational/ industrial/executive health experience
  • Confederation of Outcomes Organization (COC) certifications
  • Commissioned Corps or nursing fellowship roles
