Role Overview
A well-established national law firm is seeking a Family Paralegal to join its team in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire on a hybrid working basis.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist solicitors with private and public family law caseloads
- Draft correspondence, witness statements, applications, and court documents
- Prepare court bundles and upload documents via the Court Portal
- Conduct legal research and summarise findings for fee earners
- Liaise with clients, barristers, social workers, and other third parties
- Maintain accurate and organised case files and documentation
- Assist with disclosure, evidence gathering, and expert instructions
- Support time recording and billing processes where required
- Attend court hearings, client meetings, and conferences as required
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards

Person Specification
- Previous experience in a legal environment (family law preferred)
- Strong drafting and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and case management systems
- Professionalism and ability to handle sensitive information
- Law degree or legal qualification (LLB, GDL, LPC or equivalent)
- Experience in public law / care proceedings
- Familiarity with court bundling software and online portals
- Understanding of Legal Aid processes
- Experience in client interaction and case progression
