A bit about the role

In the role of Family Partner, the focus is on building trusting relationships with children, young people, and their families to identify the support they need and how to access it effectively. This position adopts a whole-family approach, which includes:

  • Conducting holistic assessments and offering practical guidance
  • Assisting families in overcoming barriers to services
  • Strengthening parenting confidence and advocating for children's voices
  • Contributing to coordinated support across schools, health partners, and city programmes

A crucial aspect of this role is helping families access services, especially when they encounter barriers or feel uncertain about where to turn. This includes offering parenting support through practical advice and encouragement, thereby strengthening parents' confidence in their abilities. Additionally, acting as an advocate for babies, children, and young people ensures their voices and needs are integral to planning and decision-making.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
