Role and Facility Information
Our clinic is seeking two physicians to join our well-established, collaborative team as two senior doctors transition into retirement from our five-physician practice.
About The Practice
We are a comprehensive longitudinal family practice with a strong reputation for continuity of care. We do not operate a walk-in service, allowing physicians to focus on meaningful, long-term patient relationships and high-quality care.
The Facility
- Large, spacious office
- 10 fully equipped examination rooms
- 1 dedicated treatment room
- Wired computers in every room
- Cloud-based Telus CHR EMR system (with flexibility to use your own EMR if preferred)
Our modern, well-equipped clinic provides an efficient and comfortable working environment for both physicians and patients.
The Team
- Male Physician: UBC graduate who worked for 2 years in Northern BC before coming to Surrey 38+ years ago when comprehensive medicine included obstetrics, hospital patients, surgical assists, and some emergency medicine.
- Female Physician: Completed the UBC Family Practice Residency at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Mixed practice with office practice and a large number of long-term care patients at multiple facilities along with some hospitalist shifts.
- Female Physician: Graduated from medical school in Ghana in 2012. Completed the UBC Return of Service at Surrey Memorial Hospital in 2023 and has completed her 2-year commitment taking over the practice of a retiring physician and has elected to stay on.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
