Role and Facility Information
Fraser Health (FH) and the Department of Addiction Medicine and Substance Use Services has opportunities for physicians to join our team. Several opportunities throughout the region are available due to Fraser Health’s rapidly expanding addiction services. We are a close-knit, collaborative and friendly group of providers who genuinely enjoy the work we do. Options vary by time commitment, including full-time, part-time, or occasional.
Current Opportunity: Virtual Health Addiction Clinic (VHAC)
- Coverage Position:
- Maternity coverage from September 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
- Primary day: Thursdays

Minimum Requirements:
- An active license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC (CPSBC)
Preferred (not mandatory):
- Prior experience in addiction medicine services
- Certifications such as:
- ISAM (International Society of Addiction Medicine)
- ABAM (American Board of Addiction Medicine)
- CCFP(AM) (Certification in Addiction Medicine by the College of Family Physicians of Canada)
