About The Role
This role is for a Family Solicitor with a minimum of 8 years’ PQE to join a firm in Cambridgeshire. You will handle a diverse caseload of private client matters, including divorce and financial settlements following relationship breakdown. The position offers a full-time, hybrid remote working pattern. The salary is between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. The successful solicitor will also contribute to departmental growth through networking and business development activities. This is a permanent contract for a skilled practitioner.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled Family Solicitor with significant experience in advising privately paying clients on all aspects of relationship breakdown, divorce and financial matters. The successful solicitor will manage a varied caseload of high-quality private family work while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department through business development and networking activities. Hybrid working, 26 days + Bank Holidays (plus your birthday off after one year of service).

Role Description
Family Solicitor
- Managing a caseload of privately funded family law matters from inception to conclusion.
- Advising clients on, divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, financial remedy proceedings, high-net-worth financial settlements, property and asset division, pension sharing arrangements, cohabitation disputes, separation agreements and pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
- You will build strong client relationships, delivering exceptional client care and service.
- Develop referral relationships with professional contacts, including financial advisers, accountants and other introducers.
- Contributing to marketing and business development initiatives.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and firm procedures.
Ideally you will have:
- Membership of Resolution, Family Law Accreditation or equivalent specialist recognition
- An established professional network and referrer relationships
- Experience supervising junior lawyers and support staff
