Role Description This is a full-time, Family Solicitor role based in Milton Keynes. The Family Solicitor will manage a caseload covering matters such as advising clients on matrimonial finances, trusts of land disputes between unmarried couples, as well as child arrangements and maintenance issues.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Taking instructions
- Drafting correspondence and court documents
- Negotiating settlements
- Attending hearings and conferences
- Maintaining accurate file management and billing records
The role involves working closely with colleagues across the firm, liaising with external professionals where necessary, and contributing to business development activities, including networking and supporting marketing initiatives related to the department. The successful candidate will be expected to uphold firm standards for client care, confidentiality, and compliance with regulatory and quality procedures.

Qualifications
- 10 Years + PQE in private practice
- Experience in advising high net worth clients
- Experience in trust disputes under TOLATA, child arrangements and maintenance issues
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, show flexibility and prioritise workloads in a calm and consistent manner
- Adherence to quality and work management systems
- Achievement of targets
- The candidate must be able to work in an open plan, friendly but fast paced and professional environment
- Effective cross selling of services
