Family Partner, West Midlands, GBP Highly Competitive + Equity Potential
A rare opportunity has arisen for an established Family Partner to join a progressive and ambitious law firm with significant growth plans across the West Midlands. This role is ideally suited to a well-connected family lawyer with an established following who is looking for the platform, autonomy, and support to further develop their practice.

The Role
This is a key strategic appointment for the firm and offers the opportunity to lead and grow an already successful family practice. You will advise a loyal client base on the full spectrum of privately funded family matters, including:
- Divorce
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation disputes
- Pre and post-nuptial agreements

Working closely with the wider partnership, you will play an active role in shaping the future direction of the department, mentoring junior lawyers, and driving business development across the region.
The Candidate
You will be an experienced Family Solicitor with an established reputation in the West Midlands market and a demonstrable following of clients and professional referrers. You will possess strong technical expertise across privately funded family law and have a proven track record of winning and developing new business.
Commercially astute and entrepreneurial, you will enjoy building long-term client relationships and will be looking for a firm that offers genuine support for your ambitions. Previous experience leading a team or mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous but is not essential.
