Regional Director – Private Family

The Opportunity
Simpson Judge have partnered with a well-known national law firm seeking an ambitious and commercially minded private family solicitor to lead and grow their regional private family practice. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a progressive multi-office firm committed to investing in its people, services, and future growth.
You will be given the autonomy to shape the department, develop talented teams, and build a thriving practice, supported by an established brand, strong referral network, and collaborative leadership team.

The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and developing the Private Family team across the region.
- Driving growth through business development and strategic relationships.
- Managing financial performance, budgets, and departmental objectives.
- Mentoring and developing lawyers across all levels.
- Ensuring exceptional client service and technical excellence.
- Contributing to the firm’s wider strategic direction as a senior leader.
About You
You will have:
- A strong track record in private family law.
- Proven leadership and people management experience.
- Commercial awareness and a growth mindset.
- An established professional network and business development experience.
- A passion for delivering outstanding client service and building high-performing teams.
