Family Solicitor (1+ PQE) – Hybrid Working – London
A highly regarded Legal 500-ranked law firm is looking to recruit an ambitious Family Solicitor (1+ PQE) to join its well-established and growing Family Law team in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm with an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality legal advice across a broad range of family matters. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced partners and recognised specialists, gaining exposure to a diverse caseload of both privately funded and legal aid matters, while benefiting from genuine career progression and a supportive working culture.
The Role
You will manage a varied caseload spanning both private and legal aid work, advising clients on matters including:
- Divorce and financial remedy proceedings.
- Private and public children matters.
- Cohabitation and separation disputes.
- Pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
- Domestic abuse and injunction applications.
- Care proceedings and other legally aided family matters.
- High-net-worth and complex financial cases (depending on experience).

This role offers an excellent balance of high-quality private work alongside rewarding legal aid matters, allowing you to develop broad expertise across all aspects of family law while making a meaningful difference to clients.
About You
You will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 1+ years' PQE in family law.
- Have experience managing your own caseload of family matters, including privately funded work and/or legal aid cases.
- Be familiar with Legal Aid Agency procedures (or be keen to develop your experience in this area).
- Possess excellent communication and client care skills.
- Be commercially aware with a proactive and collaborative approach.
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for family law and delivering exceptional client service.
