Exeter Community Initiatives’ Family Resource project is a person-centred and trauma-informed service which offers support to families – working with parents, children and young people to get services, support and new skills in place to create happier, healthier homes.
Role Description
We are recruiting someone with the skills to be a Family Support Worker covering our work in Cornwall. This is a fixed-term contracted position of 10 hours a week, until the end of March 2028. The hours can be worked flexibly to fit in with other work and family arrangements. This post will cover Cornwall.

We are looking for workers with experience of direct family work, who have excellent assessment and interpersonal skills, to build positive relationships with parents and their children.
You must uphold good safeguarding practice, be committed to social inclusion, and be able to liaise with professionals from a range of other agencies.
Requirements
We are committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will be assessed against the Childcare Disqualification Regulations.
