Family Support Worker
Salary: £28,142-£32,061
Hours: 37 hours per week
Type: Permanent, Full time
Location: Lancashire
Positions: 2 positions, 1 FTC, 1 Perm
We are looking for a Permanent Family Support Worker to work in the North of the County, across Lancaster, Morecambe, Fylde and Wyre and a Fixed Term Family Support Worker to work in the Central South area of the county, across Preston, South Ribble Chorley and West Lancashire, supporting Children Young People with SEND, and their Families.
An opportunity has become available to join the Children and Family Wellbeing Service, SEND team as a Family Support Worker. This is a permanent full time position, working within a small team of family support workers, in geographical areas across Lancashire. This post offers the opportunity to provide long term support to children and young people and their families, where there are assessed needs with care provision.

Children and Family Wellbeing Service SEND Family Support Worker, work in partnership with wider support services to provide specialist, personalised, support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability (SEND) and their families across the footprint of Lancashire.
CFW SEND Family Support Workers will work with education and health professionals and care providers to ensure that the child or young person is supported to achieve, thrive and reach their full potential. They will lead on the implementation and review of inclusion plans that are co-produced with families and will deliver on these, alongside other key partner agencies through a Team Around the Family approach.
