Family Time Supervisor

Surrey & West Sussex | £16.50 per hour | Flexible Bank Hours

For over 25 years, we have been providing high-quality childcare, family support and specialist services across the UK, supporting children, young people and families through some of life's most challenging circumstances.

As our services continue to grow, we are looking for dedicated individuals who share our values and want to be part of a supportive, professional team that changes lives every day.

At Freedom Care Group, we believe every child deserves safe, positive and meaningful relationships. We are looking for compassionate, professional and reliable Family Time Supervisors to join our growing team across Surrey and West Sussex.

This is a rewarding role where you will support children and families during supervised family time sessions, helping to create safe, positive experiences while ensuring the welfare of everyone involved.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supervising family time sessions between children and family members
  • Promoting positive and safe family interactions
  • Observing and recording sessions in a factual, professional and impartial manner
  • Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children at all times
  • Working independently across a variety of community and contact centre settings
  • Producing high-quality reports following each session

Flexible Hours That Work Around You

  • Wednesday afternoons and evenings
  • Saturdays
  • Sundays
  • Additional sessions regularly available across Surrey and West Sussex

This role is ideal for those seeking flexible bank work alongside existing employment, studies or other commitments.

We're Looking For People Who:

  • Have experience working with children and families
  • Have a background in social care, childcare, education, youth work, family support or supervised contact
  • Can remain calm, professional and impartial in sensitive situations
  • Are confident working independently
  • Have strong written communication skills and can produce clear reports
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS or are willing to obtain one
  • Are available to work evenings and weekends

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Access to a vehicle
  • Business Insurance
  • Ability to travel across Surrey and West Sussex

Mileage and travel time are paid in accordance with company policy.
