At Promar, we work alongside farming businesses to provide trusted, data-led advice that drives better decision-making and long-term success. Combining technical expertise, financial insight and industry-leading benchmarking, our consultants help farmers identify opportunities, overcome challenges and improve performance across every aspect of their business. With over 60 years of experience, we're a trusted partner to the agricultural industry, delivering practical solutions that make a real difference.

The role would suit someone with a strong understanding of agriculture who enjoys working with people, solving problems and turning insight into practical action. You may already have experience advising farming clients, or you may be looking to develop your consultancy career within a supportive and knowledgeable team.

Joining Promar means joining a business with a long-standing reputation for insight, reliability and practical support. Our consultants work side by side with farmers, helping them navigate challenges, unlock opportunities and prepare for the future.

This is an opportunity to develop your career in agricultural consultancy while making a direct impact on the performance, profitability and resilience of farming businesses.

You will have the autonomy to manage client relationships, the backing of an established brand, and the opportunity to work with a wide range of farms and agricultural businesses.

We are open to location for these roles and level of experience, however if you have prior consulting experience this is a plus

  • Helping farmers review business performance, plan for the future and make informed decisions.
  • Growing and developing your own client base over time.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across Promar and the wider business.
  • Taking part in team meetings, company events, agricultural shows, conferences and industry networking opportunities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
