The purpose of this role is to assist in the daily running of the Food and Beverage department, ensuring that all M&C procedures and targets are met. Key responsibilitiesas an F&B Assistant: · Setting up marquees, arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of event spaces. · Greeting guests with a smile as they arrive at the venue, directing guests to tables, providing menus and taking orders. · Delivering food from the kitchen to guests at the table or to a self-service area. · Topping up buffet selections with food. · Keeping any bar and drink service areas fully stocked with beverages. · Taking drinks orders and serving drinks to guests at their table or throughout the venue. · Ensures that all F&B areas are kept clean and that hygiene and food safety standards are respected. · Maintaining accurate records and accounts as required and agreed. · Address customer queries and resolve minor complaints effectively. As an F&B Assistant, the essential skills required: · Good understanding F&B and maintains hygiene, quality standards and health and safety. · Enthusiastic and hardworking · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment · High integrity and honesty in all dealings · Team player with a positive attitude About the Hotel The Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge is a 4-star deluxe, contemporary hotel, situated on the impressive location of Knightsbridge, the heart of one of the capital’s most upmarket shopping districts.
