Breakfast Server Job Description - Mullion, Cornwall
Breakfast Server
Location: Polurrian Hotel, Mullion, Cornwall, United Kingdom TR12
Position: Full-time, Permanent (Part-time hours also available)
Salary: £8.00 to £12.71 per hour
Aim of Role:
We are seeking an energetic and guest-focused Breakfast Server to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for many of our guests each day, you’ll play a key role in delivering a warm, welcoming, and efficient breakfast experience that reflects our hotel’s high standards of service.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Greet guests warmly and communicate breakfast systems
- Take food orders, serve meals and ensure tables are cleaned and reset promptly
- Monitor food quality and replenish buffet items as needed
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns courteously
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Handling payments and operating the till

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous hospitality and customer service experience (preferred but not essential - full training provided)
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts (starting from 7- 8am)
- Flexibility to work lunches, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to enhance skills such as barista training
